Free Market Solutions in Health Care – Fantastic Program – Required Viewing – YouTube Videos

By Capitalist in Chief

This is a fantastic one hour program with John Stossel, who’s always great.

See…

  • What’s really wrong with the health care system in America?
  • Is socialized medicine that great?
  • John Stossel debates Michael Moore.
  • How the free market can provide solutions to rising health care costs over and above what the government can ever hope to do.
  • And much more…

This should be required viewing for everyone! Especially Obama voters. :-P Please forward this page to friends. Everybody should be aware of what we’re dealing with when it comes to Obamacare! And this program has many lessons applicable to Socialism vs. Free Market in general, not just health care.

You may also send it to flag@whitehouse.gov… only kidding here!

Grab a cup of coffee, or a glass of whine, and go to it…

Michael Moore has a problem with the truth. He’s made a career out of lying.

2

Moore is a treacherous liar or just a useful idiot.

BTW, Greetings from Poland! We had real socialism not so long time ago (frankly, we still have socialism, but now it’s euro-socialism) and it really doesn’t work.

This is good when You need normal help – like when You have a flu or something similar. But when You will get cancer, your saved cash is not going to be enough. You are going to die – and that is true. I think very serious diseases should be covered by goverment – so everyone will get help. Rest You can take care of by Yourself.

Greetings from UE – not so bad at all:)

If people were responsible for their own basic are, prices across the board would go down, and care for serious diseases would become more affordable as well. For the really expensive stuff, there is catastrophic insurance, which is something that can be handled effectively by the private sector.

The current track record of government care for really serious diseases is not stellar. Once we consider the “common good”, as socialists do, when people’s health is concerned, it is not in the best interest of the “common good” to spend a lot of money on seriously ill people, especially if they are older, which they are likely to be. The notion that “everyone will get help” under government coverage is an illusion at best.

I believe that socialism is a lie – so let us do not lie and say:
Old people should die. This is true – they should die because it is not in the best interest of the “common good” and not the best interest of the progress to spend a lot of money on seriously ill people. No one really wants to say this simple truth – I have another one: Lets us work till we will be unable to work, and then someone should put us down. Because this way progress should and will be faster. World is not black and white – this is not simple topic.

This is also not about common good – lets us pay for normal treatments , let there be free market – competition. But serious diseases should be covered by goverment – maybe some sort of auction where companies could compete – and propose the lowest price for cancer treatments for certain year or etc.

Huh? Not sure what you’re trying to say here or which parts are sarcastic and which are not.

Of course it’s about the common good. Once money is in the hands of the government, it’s common money.

And private companies working for the government to provide a service is still government. Just because we’re letting companies “compete” for a government contract, does not mean that it’s the free market. We’ll still have bloated expensive, money wasting bureaucracies limiting treatments because there won’t be enough to go around for everybody.

My friend, Every country have health care problems. Is there any place where everything is working perfectly? (beside Saudi Arabia where they have lots of petrol $) If not why? Maybe lads from New World Order have a point saying – that on earth there should be only 500 millions people. This is not so simple – in this video author made a point – but not an answer – what this women should do when a pill costs 300$? Maybe die? This is solution, don’t you think?

There should be a balance perhaps – human lives are not cell phones or animal treatments.

There was a good idea – with this food company – where employee was saving on treatments. But what if he or she would get a cancer? 1500$ a year, even after 3 years is not going to be enough for a treatment.
What then?

They have high deductible insurance. Replay Part 5. It’s all explained at the beginning.
