It's obvious to me that this man cares about what he's talking about, he's also very knowledgeable, but he's letting his emotions cloud his judgment and seeing things as black and white. If you listen carefully he will also state a fact, then a half-truth about that fact, and then his opinion as to what Obama is trying to do with whatever fact he was just discussing. It's almost calculated... he gradually moves you from reality to this new picture he's trying to paint with every segment of his monologue. Obama isn't a communist, or a socialist, I can promise you that. If he was he'd have a lot more support from the socialists. I don't think he's doing everything right, but I also don't think that a lot of that stuff wasn't even true... I'll read up on them but I don't think Obama wants white men and black women to make the same even if one can actually do the job and one is in a coma. I reaaaaaaally don't think he wants that. I think he wants everyone, of every race to make a FAIR wage for the work they do. Any legislation that attempts this is probably going to goof up with their wording and not accurately depict the intention because it's such a hard thing to write and, well, most senators don't know what they're doing. I think the intention of these acts was made too vague and left open to interpretation, and I think the conservative right would love to paint the worst picture possible of them, so that's what they're doing.

I'm a huge proponent of the Free Choice Act, and I think unions are incredibly important to the fair wages of American workers. Unions are like big corporations, though, and need to be regulated as well. UAW is a great example of where unregulated unions can cause serious damage.
